Do You Know About The Harley-Davidson Custom 1250?

With the development of the motorcycle industry, there are more and more motorcycle companies producing various products such as heated riding gear. The American legendary motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson announced its plans of releasing a series of new bikes. Therefore, the first installment of this was Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special. In recent years, Harley Davidson released a teaser of its next new bike with 1250 marking in the cruiser segment, the Custom 1250. This bike was unveiled in July 2021.’

From the 1250’s marking, it is clear that the new bike shall have a 1250cc motorcycle engine, which is similar to Pan America’s. The Evolution to Revolution philosophy is on behalf of the company’s shift from the Evolution engine, or other kinds of engines introduced in 1983.

With Pan America, Harley-Davidson launched the Revolution Max engine, which is compliant with the current emission rules and offers more efficient performance. There are some changes to Custom 1250 though it has something in common with other products like motorcycle brake pedals. Thus, it also equips the Revolution Max but with minute alterations to match the bike’s nature.

The design of the upcoming Custom 1250 is really fabulous, and apparently, the bike just like a gear shifter dirt bike will adopt the company’s traditional long cruiser charm. The motorbike fuel tank, seats such as hardtail motorcycle seats and fenders of the bike shall be designed in the same way to comply with the Custom 1250 concept. At the front, the motorbike has a rectangular LED headlamp and round LED turn signals are mounted on the fork. The taillight and turn signal at the rear will also have powerful LEDs.

From the side, the motorbike has a long stance with an extended bobber fuel tank. The rear end of the bike is relatively small and slanted. The naked big V-twin motorcycle engine is visible from the sides and greatly enhances the bike's bold stance alongside the curved dual bike exhaust pipes.

In most cases, the motorcycle exhaust pipes are high mounted, and in order to protect the rider’s leg from the excess heat. These are enveloped with heat shield motorbike covers. The Custom 1250 will have a digital instrument cluster with a wonderful screen behind the stylish and adjustable motorcycle handlebars.

As is known to all, the Custom 1250 has disc brakes on both wheels with probable calipers. While the front suspension will be based on the freshly designed inverted forks, the bike will have a mono-shock for damping on the rear. What’s more, the motorbike sits on slim spoke alloy wheels with high-width tires.

Though Harley has not told anything about the electrical merits of the bike, it is known to have Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity. The screen will display the riding information, such as digital motorcycle speedo, gear, odometer, side stands down alert, and tachometer indication. To be honest, it is very useful and important for a motorcycle to have those features so as to offer better service for customers.
